Rabona
New moveChecked
In one sentence
Unlocks Rabona passes, crosses and soft shots in set situations. No stat decides it and it adds no accuracy.
Who does this affect?
Both: the kick picker is the same for the player you control and for CPU players.
How it works
With the skill the kick picker may choose a Rabona when the ball and body angles fit, he is moving at a moderate pace, and the kick is short or soft enough. No stat is read to decide it, and the Rabona kick gets no accuracy bonus. Owners also get Rabona-style turning touches, timed as if Dribbling were 20 higher.
When it applies
- A pass, cross or shot where the ball sits at the right angle for a Rabona (the code checks the ball is within 100° of his direction, plus two further angle limits of 80° and 90°).
- He must be moving, but not fast: the code checks a speed value between 2 and 7 (unit not confirmed; most likely metres per second, about 7–25 km/h).
- Passes up to 20 m (25 m for some pass types, 27 m for crosses): a short Rabona up to half that distance, a long one beyond.
- Shots: power gauge below 55 % gives the short Rabona, 55–65 % the long one, 65 % or more none.
- He must also be far enough up the pitch; the exact line was not identified.
Without it
The kick is played with a normal animation.
Which stats it reads
Weak Foot Usage decides if it happens
Only for the Rabona turning touches: offered on his preferred-foot side, or on both sides at Weak Foot Usage level 4. Rabona kicks do not read it.
Dribbling sets how strong
Only the Rabona turning touches: they count Dribbling 20 higher (feint speed rule). The Rabona kicks themselves read no stat.

Common questions
Does Rabona make the kick more accurate?
Short answerNo
It only adds the Rabona animation; accuracy comes from the normal pass and shot stats.
Do weak-foot stats matter for Rabona?
Short answerPartly
Not for Rabona kicks. Weak Foot Usage level 4 lets the Rabona turning touch happen on either side.
Does Rabona add a Rabona fake feint?
Short answerNo
The code tries to (4 in 10 times on one input), but that entry has no animation in this version, so no feint starts. Not yet seen in a match.
Does the player need high stats to Rabona?
Short answerNo
The Rabona kick picker reads no stat.
Not yet confirmed
- Which foot the Rabona kick counts as (the skill text says the stronger foot); if it counted as the weaker foot the usual weak-foot penalty would apply.
- The unit of the 2–7 speed window.
- The pitch line used for the ‘far enough up the pitch’ check.
- Which first-time kicks are allowed (on a first-time ball the code only allows one kick type) and whether Stunning kicks are excluded.
- In which situation the Rabona turning touches are chosen.
- The cancelled Rabona feint (40 % case) has not been checked in a live match.
The maths
ConditionOnly owners can kick with a Rabona; no stat level is needed.
ConditionModerate pace only: not standing still and not at full speed (speed value 2–7).
StepShots: under 55 % power short Rabona, 55–65 % long Rabona, 65 % or more no Rabona.
DetailCode oddity, not seen in a live match: for owners, 4 in 10 Flip Flap / Double Touch commands in the flip-flap direction on one side (set by his preferred foot) are swapped for a Rabona feint entry that has no animation, so in the code no feint starts.
DetailNot used by this skill: Every stat for choosing the Rabona kick — the kick picker reads none; Finishing, Low Pass, Lofted Pass and Curl get no bonus — the kick uses the normal accuracy stats
