Low Screamer
MixedChecked
In one sentence
A Stunning Shot under 50 % power with his stronger foot uses the Low Screamer kick and is struck as if the power bar were 20 % fuller: roughly 3–15 km/h faster, more from distance. With the skill, a Stunning Shot under 50 % is never a Dipping Shot.
Who does this affect?
Both: the kick and the speed apply to the player you control and to CPU players. CPU players with the skill also pick a 40 % power bar for close Stunning Shots.
How it works
With his stronger foot, a Stunning Shot under 50 % power uses the Low Screamer kick, and its speed is looked up in the Stunning Shot speed tables at the power bar plus 20 %. The gain is largest from 20 m and further and at about 25–30 % power, and grows a little with Kicking Power. It adds no accuracy. Whenever it is a Stunning Shot under 50 %, the dipping-shot option is switched off for him, on either foot.
When it applies
- Stunning Shot command, power bar under 50 %, not a chip.
- Low Screamer kick and speed gain: stronger foot, or Weak Foot Accuracy at its top level.
- No Dipping Shot: any Stunning Shot under 50 %, on either foot.
Without it
The speed is read at the real power bar value; a player with Dipping Shot would get his dipping shot at 20–50 % power.
Which stats it reads
Kicking Power sets how strong
From 15 m and further a higher Kicking Power gives a slightly bigger gain (20 m, 30 % bar: about 10 km/h at 40, 12 at 70, 13.5 at 99, 14.7 at 120); very close to goal the gain is about the same at any Kicking Power. Boosters count.

Common questions
Does Low Screamer add a fixed amount of speed?
Short answerNo
It reads the speed at 20 % more power, so the gain depends on distance, power and Kicking Power (roughly 3–15 km/h).
Does it need high Kicking Power?
Short answerNo
It works at any Kicking Power; more Kicking Power adds only a few km/h to the gain from mid-range.
Does it work with the weak foot?
Short answerPartly
The speed gain needs the stronger foot (or top Weak Foot Accuracy); the 'no Dipping Shot' part applies on both feet.
Does it make the shot more accurate?
Short answerNo
No Finishing or accuracy change is read for this skill.
Not yet confirmed
- How often the kick's speed ceiling cuts the gain was not measured; it depends on a kick-version setting that was not traced.
- Whether the Low Screamer kick flies differently apart from its speed (a marker is passed on with the kick) was not traced.
The maths
DetailThe gain grows with distance up to 20 m and then stays flat: at 30 % power and Kicking Power 85 about +4 km/h from point-blank, +7 from 10 m, +10 from 15 m, +13 from 20 m on.
DetailBiggest at 25–30 % power; at 45–49 % the gain is about a third smaller.
LimitEvery kick has a speed ceiling (100–125 km/h for this kind of kick, depending on the kick version and Kicking Power); on long shots it can cut part of the gain.
DetailOwning Dipping Shot as well is pointless under 50 %: Low Screamer always takes over.
DetailNot used by this skill: Finishing — Low Screamer adds speed only, no accuracy points.; Weak Foot Accuracy — not part of the effect; it only decides whether the weaker foot can use it (top level only).
