In one sentence
Not yet released and not finished: in this version it only removes some shot options on bouncing or rising balls hit with less than half power, a slight handicap.
Who does this affect?
Both: shot animation choice works the same for your shots and CPU shots.
How it works
Not yet released. Described from the code of this game version (11.1.1); it may change before release. Indus hooks into how the game picks a shooting animation when the ball is off the ground (higher than about 34 cm for a 180 cm player, scaled with height). For shots with the power bar under half full it makes the search stop early and skips most controlled-shot animations and two fallback animations, so the shot ends up as a basic kick. No new animation, stat or ball physics is attached yet, so the special shot it is presumably meant to give does not exist in this version.
When it applies
- He shoots at a ball that is off the ground (above about 34 cm for a 180 cm player).
- Not a stunning shot.
- The power bar is under 50 %.
- The early stop does not apply to a player who also has Blitz Curler.
Without it
The normal animation search; those low-power volley and half-volley options remain.
Which stats it reads
Height decides if it happens
Sets how high the ball must be to count (about 34 cm at 180 cm, scaled with his height).
Common questions
Does Indus give a special volley in this version?
Short answerNo
No new animation is attached; it only removes options.
Does it add shot power?
Short answerNo
No speed or stat change on its code paths.
Not yet confirmed
- What it is meant to do once finished.
- How often the removed options would actually have been used (not measured), and the exact condition of one of the skipped fallback animations.
The maths
DetailUnfinished: currently a small handicap on low-power shots at bouncing or rising balls.
