A deep playmaker: the computer chooses long balls more often with him on the ball (+0.2 tendency, any position), keeps him closer to the play in one support rule (7.5 m instead of 10 m) and leaves him out of some forward options. No stat effect.
Who does this affect?
Only while the computer controls him (computer-run team-mate or opponent). Found on: Compatible positions in the code: DMF, CMF. On cards: CMF 796, DMF 352 (1,150 in the mobile card data).
How it works
With the ball at his feet, the computer's long-ball tendency for an Orchestrator is 0.5 × his Lofted Pass progress from 70 to 90 plus 0.2 (with a 0.3 or 0.5 floor under two team settings); this counts in any position. Off the ball, in DMF or CMF, one rule keeps the front of his support area within 7.5 m of a reference point (10 m for other midfielders, 5 m for Anchor Man), the rule that pushes a central midfielder's area forward uses only 5 m for him, and in one rule he is not given an extra 3.5–4.5 m forward shift. Several of the computer's choices of attacking options leave him out (together with Classic No. 10 or Creative Playmaker in some of them); what each of those options looks like on the pitch was not traced.
When it applies
Long-ball tendency: whenever the computer has the ball at his feet, in any position.
Positioning rules: only in DMF or CMF.
Without it
A midfielder without the style has no +0.2 long-ball bonus, a 10 m support limit and the normal forward pushes.
Which stats it reads
Lofted Passsets how strong
Long-ball tendency climbs from 0 at Lofted Pass 70 to 0.5 at 90; the style adds 0.2. Where the 0.3 floor applies, the style changes nothing below Lofted Pass 74.
In numbers
Long-ball tendencyComputer ball-carrier tendency to choose a long ball; y = without the style, y2 = Orchestrator. Drawn with the 0.3 floor that applies under one team setting.

Common questions
Does Orchestrator make his long passes more accurate?
Short answerNo
No pass-accuracy code reads the style; it raises how often the computer chooses a long ball.
Does he stay deeper?
Short answerPartly
His forward pushes are smaller (5 m, no extra 3.5–4.5 m shift) and his support area is kept within 7.5 m; no rule moves him to a fixed deeper line.
The maths
ConditionPositioning rules only in DMF or CMF; the long-ball bonus and two on-ball checks work in any position.
LimitSupport rule: front of his area at most 7.5 m beyond a reference point (others 10 m, Anchor Man 5 m).
StepCentral-midfield forward push: 5 m for him (others 5–8 m, +10 m in one case).
StepOne rule gives other central midfielders an extra 3.5 m (4.5 m on one edge) forward shift in one team mode; not him.
DetailLeft out of several of the computer's attacking-option choices (some shared with Classic No. 10, Creative Playmaker or Anchor Man); not traced to what each option looks like.
DetailAn on-ball value from Tight Possession, Ball Control and Speed is also built for him (any position); where that value is used was not traced.
DetailNot used by this style: Low Pass and Curl are not read by the style's checks.; No stat is raised by the style.; Stamina: not read by the stamina or tiredness code.
