Early Crosser

AI styleStill being reviewed
In one sentence
The CPU's crossing chance rises by 30 points, and several CPU checks treat him like a Pinpoint Crossing owner.

Who does this affect?

Decision checks: these sit in the code that chooses dribbles, passes and shots for him (the code that builds the CPU's own player profile and option lists). It changes no stat. Found on: 5467 cards in the card list; mostly LB, RB, RWF, CB, CMF.

How it works

Early Crosser adds 30 to the CPU's crossing chance (the same 30 the Cross Specialist style gives; not both) and counts like Pinpoint Crossing in five other CPU decision checks. It also adds 20 to the score of the CPU's sharp-turn dribble option.

When it applies

Without it

Crossing chance from Lofted Pass and Pinpoint Crossing only; the extra checks need Pinpoint Crossing.

Common questions

Does it make crosses more accurate?
Short answerNo
Only CPU choices.

The maths

BendRamp 60→90; already full at 90.
DetailCross Specialist (a normal playing style) gives the same +30 here, and this check does not test his position.
DetailAI playing styles have no position check: the code reads them in any slot.
DetailNot used by this style: Curl — not read by the crossing chance
