Creative Playmaker

AttackStill being reviewed
In one sentence
Only changes CPU scores: a higher weight in one CPU attacking option and +0.2 in one CPU on-the-ball value.

Who does this affect?

Only players the CPU is moving: your AI teammates and the opponent's players. The style changes where the CPU puts him and what the CPU decides for him; while you steer him yourself, your input decides. Found on: Compatible: SS, LWF/RWF, AMF, LMF/RMF. In the mobile card data: 1,139 cards (AMF 694, wingers 276, side midfielders 133, SS 31, CMF 5 - no effect at CMF).

How it works

Creative Playmaker does not touch his stats or your controls. In one CPU option score (an option the code numbers 3, scored from his width, his distance to goal and his spacing) the style sets his weight: Prolific Winger 1.0; Creative Playmaker, Roaming Flank, Classic No. 10, Hole Player and Attacking Full-back 0.85; Deep-lying Forward, Target Man, Dummy Runner, Goal Poacher and Fox in the Box 0.7; no style 0.5. On the ball, one CPU value that grows with Lofted Pass also gets +0.2 for him (the same as Orchestrator and Build Up). Limit: these CPU decisions give players numbered roles that have no names in the code. Turning each role into a named move (for example a run in behind) needs the whole CPU role system mapped, which this audit could not complete, and live measurement was not possible (no device connection). They are therefore described only by what the code checks.

When it applies

Without it

Without the style his weight in that option is 0.5 and the on-the-ball value has no +0.2.

Which stats it reads

Lofted Pass sets how strong
Adds 0 to 0.5 to the CPU on-the-ball value: nothing at 70 or below, the full 0.5 at 90 and above.

Common questions

Does the style raise any of his stats?
Short answerNo
No stat is changed by the style. It only changes two CPU scores.
Does the style help when I control the player myself?
Short answerNo
Every place in the code that reads this style is CPU positioning or a CPU decision. Your own dribbles, passes, shots and runs never look at it.
Does the style still work if I play him out of position?
Short answerPartly
No for the positioning parts: they check his formation slot every time and do nothing outside SS, winger, AMF or side-midfield slots. The +0.2 on-the-ball value ignores the slot.
Is the style useless at CMF?
Short answerPartly
At CMF the option weight is off (slot gate). The +0.2 on-the-ball value still applies.

The maths

ConditionWorks only while he is deployed in a SS, LWF/RWF, AMF or LMF/RMF slot. The game checks the slot every time against a fixed list; in any other slot these parts do nothing.
StepOption-3 weight 0.85 (no style 0.5).
Step+0.2 to one CPU on-the-ball value.

DetailNot used by this style: Low Pass, Dribbling and Offensive Awareness are not read by the style's code.
