Build-up GK
UnreleasedStill being reviewed
In one sentence
Not released yet. When a team-mate has the ball, the keeper switches to a build-up position a few metres behind his back line towards the ball's side.
Who does this affect?
Only while the computer controls the keeper and his team has the ball. Found on: GK only. Not released yet (the game's style data marks it unreleased); the name and description already exist in the game text.
How it works
The code is already in the game. While his team has the ball, a team-mate (not the keeper) has it and either the keeper is already in build-up mode or the team has had the ball for 3 s and a 16 m distance check on the carrier passes, the keeper leaves his normal spot and takes a build-up position: 5 m behind his back line when the ball is at his own box line, up to 15 m when it is at the opponents' box line, shifted to the ball's side within the six-yard-box width, and never more than about 27 m from his goal line. Details may change before release.
When it applies
- Only in goal.
- Team has the ball and a team-mate holds it.
Without it
A keeper without the style uses the normal in-possession positioning.
